Orange City Institute of Management(OCIM) was established under the aegis of Jai Durga Bahu-Uddeshiya Jankalyan Sanstha’s in 2009, with the primary objective of providing world class Quality management education to budding professionals and to create managers for the 21st Century. The Institute is affiliated to R.T.M., Nagpur University and is approved by AICTE, DTE, Government of Maharashtra, Mumbai.
We achieve this objective in a unique way, where we blend traditional and innovative methods to make learning a joyful process. The course design and pedagogy equip OCIM students to lead complex organizations in a cross continental environment.
It is always perceived that a gap exists between academia and industry in terms of what the industry demands and what is taught by the educational institutions. OCIM took the right initiative since inception to ensure this gap is ultimately bridged and students’ overall development including employability is achieved. We fostered our Industry Institute linkages by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with leading industries in Nagpur such as Bajaj Steel Ltd and Pix Transmission Ltd. The main objective of such linkages is to provide students real-time learning interface and enhance the scope of their employability through internships. In order to blossom entrepreneurial spirit among our students, we also signed an MoU with Maharashtra Center for Entrepreneurship Development (MCED) in 2019.
(Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment)
Moodle is a virtual classroom where materials can be made available by a module tutor. The benefit of this online facility is that you can enter this virtual classroom from anywhere in the world at any time providing you have access to an Internet connection and a web browser.

The computer lab features TWO workstations, equipped with 120 computers the latest hardware and software to support various academic and research activities.
The lab provides high-speed internet access and is regularly updated to include the newest technology and applications. Technical support is available to assist with any issues, ensuring uninterrupted access for students and faculty.
